I don't normally put up such large photos, but I felt this one
needed to have the "entrance" of size.
For
those of you who read my blog, you'll know that my current
book-affair (which is more like a "love" affair), is
Outlander
by Diana Gabaldon.
I am in love with these books, but I tend to do that with a lot
of things I read because I'm a chick. lol I can't help it.
This series of books is unbelievable and it makes me long to get
into my studio and work just so I can listen to more of the
tales
between Jamie and Claire. Currently, as of June 2009, I'm on
book two, Dragonfly in Amber, but this bracelet is for
Outlander, the first book.
If you have read the
books, you'll understand the bracelet a bit more than most. But,
there's a part in the story where Claire gets transported
back into time by touching the stone temple. The sterling beads
reminded me of stones and I liked their shape. The colors in the
beads
are striking and reminded me of the Scottish countryside. I used
a Tree of Life charm at the toggle.
Just when you think you have life understood,
it changes. At least that's how it is for Jamie and Claire...
and I'm sure it's like that
for all of us too.

I found this photo on Flickr. I had to add it. It's a glorious
picture of the Scottish Countryside.
I would love to visit Scotland someday...
Sassenach
... Jamie says this to Claire as a term of endearment.
I stacked the two boro lampwork beads... like the stone temple.
